SEWER DISTRICT MANAGER

Jim Gross

Jim is the current Vashon Sewer District Manager and long-time Vashon resident with a deep understanding of the issues the sewer system faces on the Island. He is also Director of Engineering at BHC Consultants, an employee-owned and managed consulting, engineering, building code and construction compliance, and planning firm with offices in Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellingham.

Lyle Harris

Vashon Core Commissioner: Lyle Harris has been a commissioner since 2011 and his second term year term ends 2029. He is a Construction Project Manager at Seattle Housing Authority and has lived on Vashon since 2005.

Marta Medcalf

Beulah Park/Cove Beach Commissioner: Marta has been a commissioner for over 10 years, and her current six-year term ends in 2025. She is a long-time Vashon resident and a Public Defender in Pierce County.
